Vault Convenes in Columbus

What an enlightening and generous final Vault convening on artist-led archiving happened this weekend. A wonderfully diverse group of dance artists, activists, archivists, presenters and scholars brought their all to the table. Special thanks to Lane Czaplinski/Wexner Center for the Arts for co-hosting, and Ann Hamilton and Michael Mercil for their inspiring space.

The last of five such gatherings in New York, Seattle (On the Boards), Becket, MA (Jacob’s Pillow), and Chicago (Dance Center Columbia College), we’re now reviewing and editing all the documentation into what will become a new e-book sharing the findings and furthering the conversation.
